"The Electrician" is a song written by American singer-songwriter Scott Walker under the name Scott Engel. The song was first recorded and released by Walker's pop group The Walker Brothers as their fourteenth and last official single in 1978. The single did not chart. "The Electrician" is the second A-side written and sung by Walker. The others are: "Deadlier Than the Male" (1966), "Track Three" (1984) and "Man From Reno" (1993). The single was backed with Gary Walker's album track "Den Haague".
