The alien crash site is an unmarked location in the base game (however, it becomes marked as Alien Homing Beacon with the Mothership Zeta add-on after the abduction) that contains the remains of an alien recon craft (Theta), which crashed through a house and came to rest in a cliff side. Next to the craft is a dead alien that cannot be interacted with or looted. It is noteworthy both for its uniqueness and for the similarly unique loot found in the vicinity. It is also the source of one of the Capital Wasteland's radio signals, known as the Recon craft Theta signal.

  • The Alien Crash Site is a lot in the console version of The Sims 2 where XY-XY Smith, XHT-F Smith, and Jonas Bragg live. The lot is in the desert, and is quite big, since it contains two houses. XY-XY has a +80 relationship with XHT-F and a +10 with Jonas. Jonas has a -15 with XHT-F. The lot has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In the back yard is a crater with a crashed UFO giving off a beam which holds up a bridge with holo-pool that can be bought if you are off the lot. If you buy a telescope and stand outside at night and stargaze long enough, you will be abducted and brought back in a few days. Often, you can see a U.F.O flying around the area during the day and night. The Fridge on this lot is the most advanced in the game with added ingredients, as well as the most advanced computer.
  • The Alien Crash Site is a lot in The Sims 2 where XY-XY Smith, XHT-F Smith, and Jonas W. Bragg live. The lot is in the desert town called Sandtown, Australia, and is quite big, since it contains two houses and is located right next to Australia's version of Area 51. XY-XY and XHT-F usually harass around Jonas due to being of different specie. Jonas beats around XHT-F when she goes alone against him. When they are together, however, Jonas becomes an even bigger target for beating than Rainbow Dash.

Often, you can see UFO's flying around the area during the day and night. At the night on this lot, one might also spot the Lizard Monster running around the desert a short while.
