| - Toblus Dijrek was a male Soju diplomat and political administrator who served as Consul of Baes from 124 ABY to 128 ABY. A local politician on his homeworld of Rubutu during the reign of the Tetrarchy of Mezlagob, Dijrek had no affiliation with the Tetrarchy's oppression of the planet, and was not arrested when the Golden Empire liberated the world. He served the next two decades of his career with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Integration, working to spread and solidify the Empire's governance over newly acquired worlds. In 121 ABY, he began a three-year term as Vice Consul of Dolomir. Following this appointment, he was made Consul of Baes. As Consul, Dijrek was not a very forceful personality; he was used to negotiating and arbitrating, and thus did not adapt well to ruling. The construction of the Imperial Star Destroyer Tempest was assigned to the Baes Shipyards shortly after Dijrek assumed the Consulship. Numerous labor disputes bogged down the project, and Dijrek attempted to get all sides to come together in arbitration rather than simply giving a ruling himself. In 128 ABY, Queen Rin Sakaros had had enough, and sent her brother, Royal Executor Tariun Sakaros, to evaluate the project firsthand. Touring Baes and the Shipyards for a day in a surprise visit, he had dinner with Dijrek that night, during which he casually made the announcement that Dijrek's Consulship had come to an end, and he could either resign or be dismissed. To save some face, Dijrek agreed to resign; he offered to stay on until a replacement was selected, but Tariun appointed his Royal Guard Sorrik as successor at the same dinner. Sorrik offered Dijrek and his wife two weeks to arrange their things before they would have to leave the Consul's Palace. The Dijreks retired to Rubutu, where a disheartened Toblus spent the rest of his days pursuing the traditional family business of making wine.
