A Ventanan woven art was a rare antique. In 2368, Kamala asked Jean-Luc Picard if he had heard about the recovery of an intact woven art from the fourth colony dig. In the reports from the dig, it was stated the art's colors were remarkably vibrant for their age. Picard was surprised; he had read that, because of their delicate nature, very few of these artworks were preserved. (TNG: "The Perfect Mate" ) This was presumably associated with the reference to Ventanan archaeology discussed in the episode.
