| - Hello, Sciencers! I have some positively incredible news to report, and I'm going to need your help shortly as well. I've spent the past several weeks researching and experimenting with a rather unstable and uncertain item, the likes of which I've never previously seen. As of yet it seems that no one else has discovered this type of item, which means that I get dibs on what to name it! Up until now I've referred to it as a "Choose Your Own Evolving Item" or "A Horrific Experiment in Morality", but neither of those seem like they'll do well from a professional standpoint, for, well, obvious reasons. In the interim, I am referring to it as an Adventure Evolving Item, or AEI for short.

Now then, here's the part where I need your help. Please read a bit about this experiment of mine, then I'll tell you a bit about how you can help me out with this unusual procedure. - Hero's Journey: Vander took a deep breath and plunged into the flames. Through the thick smoke, he could barely see the path ahead, but he knew that somewhere in this smoldering cottage his best friend was in peril. Lyel was a mutt, a former stray, and about as well-trained as a fish, but he was Vander's pup nonetheless, and so the youth was dashing right into the heart of the fire to retrieve him from the remains of the tired old building. It wasn't until halfway down the hallway that he heard a shrill but familiar scream. Aidah?! She must have charged in after Lyel too, once she'd seen the smoke. Damn. As he began to change course, the villagers outside sounded the alarm: The cottage was about to collapse. Two directions, two dear friends, and he could save only one. A choice needed to be made. A riveting story, is it not, Scienteers? Now, as you can see, a decision has to be made here, and this is where I need your help. I've set up a handy-dandy voting and discussion thread, where you all can help me decide what happens to this experiment next! There's nothing quite like trial by fire, right? I promise you this is completely morally and ethically okay to do, even if it's only because no one's done it before! Get to it, Sciencers, so we can see what happens next! Get Hero's Journey! Help Decide What Happens Next!
