Author: Pook Pook glared at the ceiling of the Westbrook Garrison in Elwynn Forest, lying on a plain bunk. Changed now through the power of Lord Cromwell to a creature driven only by the most powerful parts of her nature, finally having command of words and concepts beyond where the next fish was coming from, she was finding it difficult to rest. She was alone there, despite her best efforts. Nearly every man she'd encountered today had had a moment of weakness where they'd almost given in and succumbed to her will, but in the end they had all managed to evade her. • Author: Pook Pook glared at the ceiling of the Westbrook Garrison in Elwynn Forest, lying on a plain bunk. She ticked off a mental list... Vorithius the Warlock had only ironically lectured her on morality. Borim attempted to kill her, Flamebeard was too wrapped up in his little Dwarfess to succumb but showed some interesting reactions to some doubts she put in his mind. Thoundith had denounced her, calling her Rook, and while Erunamo had shown the most promise, allowing himself to be lead away, he only seemed interested in conversations and talk of marriage. She had pried a promise from him in exchange for information, but as of yet he had still not fulfilled his debt. She had only had a fleeting amount of time with Jamie, and Pantheouss had tried to cut off her ear. Easchew had been captivated by her but was lost track of at some point during the night's events, and Tybilt was too preoccupied with his fixation on Crix and would not allow himself to be consoled. Andrinn had seemed more interested in talking to Crix as well, and later when he came by the Garrison briefly it was only to visit Cromwell. She had presented Aden with the choice between two opportunities, but he still had yet to say which he would take, if either. And then there was Dalin. Pook sighed. He was one of the first friends she'd made when she'd come to the world of people. Even now, even after how much she had changed, she still cared about him. But something was happening to him. Something that was probably the result of her new power, but she had no idea how it had happened or how to control it. How to control him. And after all that, here she still was, alone. She clawed at the blankets in frustration, pressed a pillow over her face and then threw it against the opposing wall before finally giving up and, for lack of anything better or more interesting to do, went to sleep.
