Avril Station was a Starfleet facility in operation in the mid 24th century, located between Station Kel-Artis and Cor Caroli IX. As of 2376, it was under the command of Commander Ling. In the 2350s, there was an attempt to apply the Sitok upgrade to Avril Station's computer system, which resulted in crashing their systems. It was determined that the benefits of applying the upgrade did not outweigh the costs of overhauling the station's hardware, and so it remained one of only a few Federation facilities not to incorporate Sitok's program.

  • Avril Station was a Starfleet facility in operation in the mid 24th century, located between Station Kel-Artis and Cor Caroli IX. In late 2376, Crewmen Tomozuka Kim and Lise Irastorza reported aboard the USS da Vinci at Avril, when that ship's Starfleet Corps of Engineers team was scheduled to perform an upgrade. During this upgrade, Lieutenant Commander Mor glasch Tev, unaware that the station had never received the Sitok upgrade, disregarded the instruction of Commander Sonya Gomez and installed a diagnostic program of his own design. This had the result of crashing almost all of the station's systems. (SCE eBook: Security)
