abstract	Volu Crix'ls was a Verpine Dark Jedi and a member of the Scautus Order. He took his orders directly from General Enscu (who was secretly under the control of the Covallon Kratyn vuv Enerkerraz). Crix'ls' main task was upkeep of the Order's many technological devices, especially the Augur. For this purpose, he accompanied Scur and Rakka on their mission to Baehorde, but he did not participate in the battles there. Toward the end of the Order's stay on Kuras IV, Crix'ls mostly coordinated work on the ground, especially in attempts to find the Kurasian superweapon and root out rebel forces among the Kuras Tetrarchy. He worked out several deals with Werro Prell, the former Duros councilor, to obtain information about the colonists. He personally ordered the execution of the Shistavanen Carveik's family. When the Third Battle of Kuras IV began, Crix'ls left Prell with a number of Gank soldiers and returned to the hangar bay to defend it against the rebels. Once there, he was almost killed when a chunk of permacrete was cut from the roof of the hangar by Gideon Corey. The human Jedi student rode the chunk to the ground, even after Crix'ls pushed it out of the way with the Force. Crix'ls attacked Corey, nearly killing him, when the Ranth soldiers (who defected to join the Tetrarchy) and Kurasian security forces shot him in the back, killing him.
