Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr. (July 5, 1902 – May 4, 1970). US Senator from Massachusetts. Vice-President of the United States (1958-1969) under Richard Nixon. Considered an able Vice-President and skilled diplomat, Lodge declined to run for President in 1968, citing ill health.
