- Madam A scurries in her house, fearing Kaneki's group. She just received a call presumably from Taguchi but was surprised to hear Kaneki talking to her, saying that he was indebted to her. She dresses up while getting ready to leave, however, Kurona Yasuhisa insists that she should leave her pets behind, otherwise, she will get caught. At Anteiku, Yoshimura scolds Roma Hoito for using sugar in coffee since sugar is for human consumption, not ghouls. He awkwardly makes a joke about basemen and serving coffee for ghouls. Roma responds by following up with a clever pun of "Anteiku."

Erza defeats her opponent Ikaruga, who reveals that Etherion is going to fire in fifteen minutes on the tower, and Erza decides that she will battle Jellal herself. Shô is stunned by Erza's power, but she tells Shô to leave the tower at once with the others. Meanwhile, Simon is informing Natsu about the situation, and he tells Natsu to fight alongside Erza; however, Natsu refuses, saying it was her fight. Erza meets Jellal and they prepare to fight. Simon reveals that Erza is still trying to save Jellal and that he would use her emotions against her and that Etherion would fire in ten minutes, destroying the tower and Erza's plan on taking advantage of the situation to kill Jellal along with herself. - Syaoran has now landed in the middle of a rainy forest and having no idea as to how he got to be there he shouts for Princess Sakura and the others but does not receive a response.He ponders if he traveled to anther dimension but realizes that he could not have done so without Mokona. Then he wonders whether the book given to him by Kurogane had something to do with it and when he leans down to check he notices much to his surprise that there are words written down in previously empty book. As he flips the pages, he gets sent to another place where he notices a young boy chasing after a flying handkerchief and concludes that the boy could not see or hear him. On paying closer attention he is astonished that the boy resembles Kurogane very much.
