His mother therefore rules France in his name, wanting to make the country as strong as possible for when her son grows old enough to take the throne himself; she even concocts a plot to find the Blue Eye of Gaia (a Cosmos Stone) to give him the power to conquer Europe or even the world at large.

His mother therefore rules France in his name, wanting to make the country as strong as possible for when her son grows old enough to take the throne himself; she even concocts a plot to find the Blue Eye of Gaia (a Cosmos Stone) to give him the power to conquer Europe or even the world at large. Though mostly uninvolved in major events during the story arc, he has no desire to rule a great empire, and at the end of The Haunted Hunt he stands up and uses his birthright of supreme power to order back his mother and Richelieu and gives the Green Cosmos Stone to the D-Team.
