The company launched the Dynect® Platform in October 2007 in response to a growing need for enterprise solutions from their DynDNS® customer base. In August, 2008, the company began offering Virtual private server hosting in a private beta offered to survey takers. Spring Server℠ VPS became available to all users in September, 2008.
