Mr. Whitesides has been a performing Stage Magician in the Chicagoland area for the last 15 years, according to local records, under the stage name "Presto The Great". However it is only recently that Mr. Whitesides has come to any great fame as his Talents have only recently expressed themselves. We believe this to be the oldest Talent to express powers to date. According to interviews conducted when Mr. Whiteside was brought in, he is a widower having lost his wife Marie DeBeau Marche-Whitesides in a mob skirmish in 1932. Mr. Whiteside is very distructing of our organization and of the American government in general. He will often begin speaking French and pretends not to understand questions asked in English. Abilities: Mr. Whitesides' powers consist of the ability to cause to vanish any object of his choosing. Demonstrations in front of trained observers produced only speculation as to how he accomplishes this task. Mr. Whitesides himself claims no to know how he accomplishes it, saying only that, "A magician never reveals his secrets." Currently our scientists believe that the objects, which can range in size from a small rubber ball to a large automobile, are being transported to a pocket universe or other such non-space where they are held until retrieved. The origin point a destination point need not be the same, as Mr. Whitesides can cause an object to vanish in one spot and reappear in another. Mr. Whitesides refuses to use his power on living creatures saying "Les lapins tout ont tourné à l'envers." (Translation: "The rabbits all turned inside-out.") The team did not investigate the matter any further. Psychological profile: Mr. Whitesides seems well adjusted, considering. His irrational hatred of the United States government is probably rooted in a general disrespect of authority and is likely caused by an overbearing Father and an overly doting Mother.
