On the eve of his 15th birthday he had a chance encounter that completely changed the course of his life, while in persuit of the Sith Lord Dragon Masque, Devon Vos found the young man immediately recognising his potential in the Force. Seeing much of himself in the young man he took him in and began to train him with the help of an ancient Jedi master that he'd himself recently freed from a thousand year hibernation in Carbonite, Bahn'tak Vooda. Since then Jonji has gone on to marry Liz Corvella of Corvella Shipyards and is now considered to be one of the New Jedi Order's finest and most loyal knights.
