| - The restaurant is named after Sanafir Island, a small island at the mouth of the Red Sea. It is part of the Glowbal Group of restaurants. The decor is similarly themed, with low lighting, wrought-iron chandeliers, numerous candles, and an upstairs area with four beds instead of tables. Upstairs there is also a Middle Eastern-style low table, where patrons sit on cushions near the floor. Patrons may also dine at the bar with full food service. Sanafir is located at 1026 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1L5, Canada. Official website:

The wine list is reasonably varied, with labels from (predominantly) North America, as well as Italy, France, Spain, and even a famous dessert wine from Lebanon. The cocktail list is undergoing re-writing (as at October 2010), and is mostly of the citrus-sweet style, with numerous house-made fruit purées and herbaceous, floral and spiced syrups.
