- Goldstar is a pale lager brewed by Tempo Beer Industries.
- GoldStar was an electronics company established in 1958. The corporate name was changed to LG Electronics and LG Cable in 1995, with the tractor division changing to LG Tractors. LG Cable was changed to LS Cable in 2005, and the tractor division followed with LS Tractors. GoldStar manufactured a wide variety of products, including radios, televisions, microwaves, tractors, etc... GoldStar televisions and radions became a commonly sold economy brand of consumer television sets in the United States and the UK in the 1980s.
- Goldstar, real name Kirk Pierce, is a superhero with a bad reputation. He has been described as a "goon" by other heroes. Kirk is the oldest son of the wealthy Pierce family. Like his siblings, he was originally a small kid, but had a really impressive growth spurt as a teenager, becoming a star athlete—described as "a real golden boy (...) Smart, did well in school, lettered in three sports, and drop dead gorgeous." Sometime in the summer of 2003, he found out that his younger brother Nate had somehow captured a Dynamorph with the help of his buddies Spence and Dylan. Instead of helping Nate or convincing him to surrender the Dynamorph to the authorities, Kirk bonded with it himself in order to become a superhero.

| - Goldstar, real name Kirk Pierce, is a superhero with a bad reputation. He has been described as a "goon" by other heroes. Kirk is the oldest son of the wealthy Pierce family. Like his siblings, he was originally a small kid, but had a really impressive growth spurt as a teenager, becoming a star athlete—described as "a real golden boy (...) Smart, did well in school, lettered in three sports, and drop dead gorgeous." Sometime in the summer of 2003, he found out that his younger brother Nate had somehow captured a Dynamorph with the help of his buddies Spence and Dylan. Instead of helping Nate or convincing him to surrender the Dynamorph to the authorities, Kirk bonded with it himself in order to become a superhero. He became a member of SPECTRUM, but after a confrontation with Sunder in which Goldstar destroyed a Route 50 overpass and a bus, injuring 16 people and leading to the death of four, Kirk was charged with Felony Mayhem and Mass Reckless Endangerment, and Judge Wardell sentenced him to three years in prison. However he was released two years early after allegedly helping to contain a breakout at the state's super-penitentiary. He assumed his membership in SPECTRUM was still valid despite his conviction, but other members didn't agree with him. The only SPECTRUM member who appears to have taken his side in the issue is Tawny, who pointed out that the group's charter apparently does not include expulsion protocols. He has since been trying to upstage the Silver Ghost in the hope of getting some favorable publicity.

The GoldStar tractors actually began in 1975 as a division of Hyundai, in cooperation with Yanmar of Japan. In 1977, they began cooperating with Fiat of Italy, and in 1983 was acquired by GoldStar. That same year, they began cooperation with Mitsubishi, and re-established cooperation with Fiat in 1984. Tractors were sold under the GoldStar and Fiat-GoldStar brands. (Fiat-GoldStar was a brand of tractors sold in cooperation with the Fiat). GoldStar later changed its corporate name to LG Cable, and the Fiat-GoldStar name was discontinued.
