(TNG episodes: "Haven", "Half a Life", DS9 episode: "The Forsaken") Lwaxana once admitted to Q that no one, not even she, really cared about the Holy Rings, and that she kept them in a box in the back of a closet in her home. She only focused on them to avoid dwelling on the very real possibility that her daughter Deanna Troi would predecease her.
