  • Perséas II reigning from (924 - 880 BC) was the sixth Emperor of the Heracleidae Empire and a member of the Heracleidae dynasty. The Heracleidae or Old Persican empire was the precursor of the modern Diadochian Empire. Perséas II succeeded his father Hektor II in 924 BC. In his predecessors reigns the Heracleidae empire had been in a slow decline. During his reign, Perséas turned this all around when he embarked on a vast program of expansion and reconquest. At his death, the Dardanian Empire exacted tribute from Amnion in the east to the Hellenized city states of Morea in the west; controlling all the land between.
