I am writing this as a warning to any who find this, if anyone finds this at all. It matters not whom I am, As i shall probably not live to meet you should you come about finding this. What matters is that you are made aware of the fact of the curse befalling My fair Country of Gilneas. A curse or disease has swept the nation, transforming the populace into savage wolf-men, Causing wide-spread slaughter and rioting. This is a journal of events I am summoning from memory. Please, if you are reading this, stay away from Gilneas, and Tell your country-men of what has occured there.

Please, if you are reading this, stay away from Gilneas, and Tell your country-men of what has occured there. October 12 As the harvests were coming to an end, the first cases occured. Three Guards at the recently erected Greymane wall Fall ill, swiping out at their comrades and foaming at the mouth, they are subdued, and taken to healers for treatment at the barracks. They pass it off as a break of madness, and the guards scratched by the infected are given minor bandages for the raw wounds, and sent back to their posts to resume duty. October 14, midday Communication lost with the Northern Barracks and the Greymane Wall. Villagers and farmers situated in the north allegedly hear screams and Howls in the forests, And stay in their hovels, fearful of wargs. The Commander of the Greymane Wall Fails to show at the kings Harvest Feast at Greymane Manor. October 14, Late Evening Village militia arm themselves, shadows dart outside the watch fires, and movement is seen in the forests, but none are brave enough to go out and face the shadows. The kings Feast is called off early during the 8th course. All guests vacate the grounds through the southern exit under protection by the manor Guards and the Royal Protectorates. Guests are not told why they are leaving, and many manor staff are not told why they are being abandoned, and stay to clean up the mess. screams are later heard eminating from the manor grounds. October 15, early morning Morning reveals the horrors which the militia saw the previous night, Packs of wolf-men en-circle northern villages, armed to the teeth, and hungry. The villages fight for survival, and the royal guard return to the manor, And find its halls blood-stained, but deserted. October 15, Midday Duskhaven Stands against the wolf-men packs, along with a few other bastions of Gilnean resistance. The court of Greymane Convenes, Bringing in reports from the Outlying regions, and agree to call all civilians and Military members to converge on Greymane city, to gather strength from the wolf-man threat, and telling refugees to leave any sick or wounded behind. October 15, Evening Myself and a few others see the gathering at Greymane as little more than giving the wolf-men a chance to have a feast of their own. we head for the border mountains, equiped with equipment to use in scaling the mountain ranges. we make camp for the night, hoping the wolf-men have smelt the converging populace, and are further south than our camp. we must tell the Alliance of our plight. I hear howling in the forest. let us hope it is but wargs. Goodbye.
