Matthew Kent was a English Crusader in the Third Crusade alongside Thomas and Morgan Foster. He was killed in the Holy Land probably by Saracens in a battle led by Thomas in an Israeli village. Robin of Locksley was in the battle too, but he was too late to save Morgan, Matthew and Thomas. Morgan Foster was mentioned to Carter, Thomas's brother by Robin, explaining how that day it wasn't his fault Thomas died and how Thomas wasn't the only one who died.
