It was approved as part of Stage 15 of the estate's development in 1968 and the 36m tall building was completed later that year. It was scheduled to be demolished in 2011 but those plans were later scrapped. It was used in Only Fools and Horses as Nelson Mandela House, Del Boy and Rodney Trotter's Peckham home.
