The Australian Government established the E-Security National Agenda (ESNA) in September 2001 to create a secure and trusted electronic operating environment for both the public and private sectors. The focus of this National Agenda was to: * enhance intelligence and response capabilities of key Commonwealth agencies; * raise awareness of e-security issues across the economy; * develop the e-security skills base; and * encourage R&D in e-security.
