  • In Battlefront I, the Galactic Conquest option allows players to conquer the galaxy planet by planet. Players start with one planet and their "base" (Kamino: Tipoca City for the Grand Army of the Republic, Endor: Bunker for the Galactic Empire, Geonosis: Spire for the CIS, and Hoth: Echo Base for the Rebellion) and one other planet, depeding on their chosen Faction. The last level, after all of the other planets have been conquered, is always the enemy capital. Each planet provides a planetary bonus, one of which is chosen at the beginning of each battle.

abstract
  • Galactic Conquest, or GC, is a game made by Gamestotal, who also invented Unification Wars. The games have essentially the same concept, but are different on almost all levels, including infrastructure, war, and battle style. Most of the terms shared between the games are the same, but they have different values to them. As far as the two games go, Galactic Conquest focuses more on the concept of battling, where Unification Wars focus more on diplomacy and income gathering, the biggest difference that could be found as an example of this being scouting for new planets. In Unification Wars, smaller empires can find anywhere up to 1000 planets per turn, whereas it is nearly impossible at higher levels, yet in Galactic Conquest, less than a thousand can be found per turn, or indeed several turns. This makes income gathering much more difficult and thus ship stacking is much more important than it would otherwise seem in Unification Wars.

Players choose a planet to attack from the list. If they win, they choose another planet to attack, or attack the same planet again. If they lose, the opposing faction attacks them. This continues until one of the Factions have completely conquered the galaxy. The last level, after all of the other planets have been conquered, is always the enemy capital. Each planet provides a planetary bonus, one of which is chosen at the beginning of each battle.
