It is said that the constellations, the alignment of stars into patterns, have the power to affect and shape people's destinies. That power stems from the ZodiaCrystals, crystal balls that each contain the power of a specific constellation. It was learned that if the crystals were all collected in the same place, they would allow one person to actually control the future. To prevent that from happening, the ZodiaCrystals were scattered across time and space by a group of wizards known as the Pleiadian Starmages. Eons later, an army of alien warlords called the Dreadnauts have begun to collect the ZodiaCrystals. Standing in their way are the Power Rangers Zodiac, a team of young people from different planets who found their own ZodiaCrystals and were recruited by the last surviving Starmage
