  • Section 69.2b Report: Year 622 of the King’s Calendar Blood Knight Soraya Adalia Dwin’urdrenn, Suspected Treason This document may only be seen by members of the Order ranked Master or above. Security clearance required: Level 2. All requests to view must be logged. Magisterial access: Universal. The following report is written from information gathered from statements given by Knight Dwin’urdrenn, letters between the Silvermoon Blood Knight Order, Knight Dwin’urdrenn and the Alliance Order of the Lightsworn, as well as the thoughts of the ruling echelons of the Silvermoon Blood Knight Order. A full profile of Soraya Adalia Dwin’urdrenn can be requested for viewing by all members of the Order ranked Adept or above in section 2.7a of the Silvermoon Blood Knight Order Documents Library. For this report, the following information has been requested to be made known: * Dwin’urdrenn has served actively in the Order since its founding. * Dwin’urdrenn has no outstanding marks on her record. * Dwin’urdrenn has a history of defection. Upon Silvermoon siding with the Scryers it was made clear that Dwin’urdrenn had been serving with the Scryers covertly for some time. The defection was ruled out as ‘acting within an informed and correct manner’ and not held against her person. Dwin’urdrenn commences authorised leave. She keeps the exact details of what she wishes to do to herself, but lets it be known that she will be travelling. Her leave is scheduled to end on the 5th day of the Seventh Month. -- It has later been made known through handwritten letters to the Order that during her leave, Dwin’urdrenn travelled south of Quel’Thalas with the intention of seeking her Quel’dorei parents. Using a crude disguise, she claims to have visited two Alliance settlements: Southshore and Menethil. She has stated that during her time in Menethil, her disguise was forcefully removed and she was apprehended by the Lightsworn and taken into their custody. The Order received these words with caution. It was believed by some that Dwin’urdrenn had been planning a defection to the Quel’dorei and the Alliance. Upon the Lightsworn hearing her claims, it is likely they did not believe her and placed her under arrest as a prisoner of war. -- Dwin’urdrenn did not return for active duty as planned. She was graced with a 24 hour period as per standard protocol. She did not report in within this time. No messages were left in any way – no letters or long-distance scrying communication. She is presumed missing in action. After a standard two-week period, it is discussed amongst the ruling circles of the Order about search parties. However, there is no evidence anywhere that would suggest where to look. With the Knights spread far in the war against the Scourge, the searches are voted against and the Masterhood is not informed, although it has been made clear that some of her closer acquaintances are taking it upon themselves to try and discover her whereabouts. The Order does not interfere at this point. Within an additional week (date: 26th of the Seventh Month) an official statement will be issued regarding Dwin’urdrenn’s suspected death. Word is received from Dwin’urdrenn as to her whereabouts via letter (as aforementioned). Despite her own wishes, the Order treats the letter with suspicion. However, the ruling echelons decide to grant the passage of letters between the Order and the Lightsworn. The reasoning for this decision was two-fold; * Diplomatic channels could be opened in the event Dwin’urdrenn’s story is the truth. * The Order could further investigate her claims directly. The following extracts are what have been deemed important information from the first letter sent to the Order by Dwin’urdrenn: This letter remains in the archives of the Order. Its contents were discussed thoroughly, and from this point onwards Dwin’urdrenn came under suspicion of treason. The initial reasoning for so is as follows; * The wish to visit Quel’dorei during wartime shows signs of possible defection. The story of parents may have been a ruse, as there are no remaining records of Dwin’urdrenn’s seniors stating that they did or did not survive the razing of Quel’Thalas during the Third War. * * Dwin’urdrenn had buckled early under interrogation and had traded her wellbeing in exchange for Sin’dorei secrets. The suspicions about Dwin’urdrenn were kept a secret. Her status was made known to the Order as a whole. Official word was sent to Lightsworn from the Blood Knight Order. The letter was conceived and penned by Knight Master Sateal Emberheart, former Commander of the Ashwing unit. The letter requested their terms of release in the hopes that a quick settlement could be drawn. Ensuring Dwin’urdrenn’s swift release both appeased her comrades, and ensured that no further secrets could be leaked to the Alliance. No word had been received from Lightsworn at this point. This untimely behaviour begins to frustrate matters within the Order. Master Sariella Sunblossom pens an unofficial letter to prompt a response. The contents of this letter, short as they were, gave reason to believe that she knows nothing of her former Master’s suspected treachery. It is pointed out by some that Dwin’urdrenn may indeed be innocent. The possibility is not ignored. Letter is received from Gaebriel of Sunshine, Knight-Herald of the Lightsworn Order, Loyal Servant of His Majesty King Varian of the Wrynn Dynasty. He is immediately perceived as pretentious. It is clear that the subsequent letter from Sunblossom was not taken kindly. The Order is informed Dwin’urdrenn is still under respectable treatment. No demands are given, yet we are warned not to make any idle threats. Further negotiations are left to be handled by Knight Azarn Veir’thalas, current Apprentice to Dwin’urdrenn. As well as outstanding mannerisms to deal with such events, the ruling echelons feel this is ample opportunity to discover if he has anything to reveal about his Master’s intentions. -- When questioned regarding her treatment within the second month of captivity, Dwin’urdrenn stated that ‘so long as she did not cause a fuss, they would do her no immediate harm’. She claims that many of Lightsworn would visit and speak to her, purely out of curiosity. She remains adamant that nothing of importance was shared between them, merely ‘small talk’. -- Veir’thalas’ negotiations prove successful, and word is received again from the Lightsworn, this time with terms of release for Dwin’urdrenn. The terms are as follows; The terms are left to be discussed amongst the Knight-Lords. Veir’thalas keeps Lightsworn informed. Veir’thalas is caught in Dwin’urdrenn’s office. It is unsure why he was in there, or indeed how he got inside, but the event did not strengthen the case for his Master’s innocence, or indeed his own. -- Records of action taken against Veir’thalas that evening can be requested for viewing by members of the Order ranked Master or above in section 67.3c of the Silvermoon Blood Knight Order Documents Library. The document requires a level 3 or above security clearance to be retrieved and viewed. All requests are recorded in the log-book. -- A reply from the Order is sent by Master Sunblossom negotiating the terms of Dwin’urdrenn’s release. The differences to the terms suggested are minimal, yet possessed more clarity. The terms are discussed for the next week. It is finally agreed that Dwin’urdrenn will be handed back into the hands of the Order on the 25th day of the ninth month. The Thandol Span is chosen as the area the hand-over will take place. Master Sunblossom, along with a detachment of Knight-Escorts is sent to collect Dwin’urdrenn. Once returned to the hands of the Order, Dwin’urdrenn spent just under two days in transit until she arrived safely back in Silvermoon City. Without rest Dwin’urdrenn is bought before Lord Solanar Bloodwrath and placed under suspicion of treason. However, without a suitable amount of evidence to support the accusations, with an equal lack of evidence for Dwin’urdrenn to defend herself, minimal action is taken against her. Dwin’urdrenn is subsequently relieved of Command of the Ninth Division of the Silvermoon Blood Knight Order and transferred to the Sunfire Vanguard with immediate effect. Her rank of “Master” is revoked. Her record receives a black mark and it is made public throughout the Order that she is to be treated with caution. -- By Dwin’urdrenn’s own admission, the third month of her captivity was uneventful. She claims that she had become increasingly dissatisfied with her situation and sought not to make contact with her captors unless absolutely necessary. Mealtimes would be the only occasion she would permit entrance to her room, and towards the end of her stay she went so far as to refuse to bathe. She claims not to know what the future would have held were she not released back into the hands of her people. --
