Born on a Koros-Strohna during the decades before the Yuuzhan Vong War, Cek Skell was born into the Warrior caste and fought with honor during the conflict. Following the war's conclusion and the Yuuzhan Vong recolonization to Zonama Sekot, Skell's popularity among his fellow warriors lead to him being made Supreme Overlord at a very young age (by Yuuzhan Vong standards at least). Skell's last act was to throw himself upon Ki, shielding him from a secondary explosion, at a cost of his own life.

Skell ruled unchallenged for thirty five years until the arrival of Cerras Ki in 65 ABY. Skell was unwilling to take sides in the conflict between the Sith Order of Decreto and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances and considered having Ki thrown off of Zonama Sekot, but before he could act, a massive explosion ripped through the building, grievously wounding Skell. Skell's last act was to throw himself upon Ki, shielding him from a secondary explosion, at a cost of his own life.
