Sir Geoffrey or Jeffery Boleyn (1406–1463) was a London merchant and Lord Mayor of London 1457 A freeman of the city through the Worshipful Company of Hatters in 1428. In 1429 he transferred to a grander livery company, the Worshipful Company of Mercers, of which he became master in 1454. As a wealthy mercer he served as a Sheriff of London in 1447, as member of parliament for the city in 1449, as alderman in 1452, and Lord Mayor of London in 1457/8, and was knighted by King Henry VI Article in Wikipedia [1] and more information here [2] and here [3].
