Nicholas John "Nick" Rackaway (born October 1, 1961) is an American Democratic politician who currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Pacifica's 2nd Congressional District, based on southern and central Vancouver Island. He has served in that position since January 3, 2003. Prior to becoming a Congressman, Rackaway was the Mayor of Saanich and served on the Holt County Council. Rackaway is currently the Deputy Director of the DCCC and is the ranking member on the House Appropriations Committee. He is regarded as a conservative-to-moderate Democrat.
