| - LEGO Doctor Who 6-8 is the third in a fictional series of video games based upon the increasingly popular BBC television series, Doctor Who. It follows on from LEGO Doctor Who 1-3: the video game and LEGO Doctor Who 4-5: the video game, with all Doctors playable in the game, regenerating into the next variation when killed during Free Play. This video game focuses upon Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, and even John Hurt's Doctors - these being the Sixth, Seventh, Eighth and War Doctors, respectively. Many abilities are carried over from previous games, such as the Sonic Screwdriver ability. Meanwhile, many new abilities are introduced, such as Gliding (e.g. the Sixth and Seventh Doctors, using their umbrellas).

Meanwhile, many new abilities are introduced, such as Gliding (e.g. the Sixth and Seventh Doctors, using their umbrellas). A new type of level, the TARDIS Transporter level, is also introduced, in which two characters must work together to build a blue target, while another character (usually the Doctor) completes simple mini-tasks aboard the TARDIS (e.g. finding and repairing pieces of technology). Once both tasks have been achieved, the TARDIS will materialise on the blue target, and the level will continue. _
