Zoey: We are going back to the trainer village block. Michael: Have fun watching Tyler. Nate: Will do. Nate: Ralph won his match already this morning. Jon: That’s good. Jon: There Tyler is. Good luck Tyler! Tyler: I’ll win for sure. Referee: The double battle between Tyler and Marcus is about to begin. Go! Marcus: Go! Tyler: Right. Then let’s go! Referee: Begin! Marcus: Rhydon, Take Down. Machoke, Brick Break! Tyler: Jynx, use Psychic! Jon: That was a good idea. Tyler: Hitmontop, Mach Punch! Nate: So Tyler can only really use Close Combat and Mach Punch. Tyler: Use Mach Punch! Marcus: It’s like Mach Punch and Close Combat are Hitmontop’s only moves. Catch it. Tyler: Break free using Bullet Punch. Tyler: Argh. Marcus: I think I win then. Use Brick Break! Tyler: Hitmontop! Tyler: You learned Rapid Spin! Awesome Hitmontop. Marcus: So this battle might be interesting after all. Tyler: Rapid Spin! Marcus: Cross Chop! Marcus: This seems to be more of a problem. Referee: Both Hitmontop and Machoke are unable to battle. The match is a draw. Commentator: Incredible! We haven’t seen many draws this year folks, and this is a draw worth watching. Tyler: Hey guys. Jon: Tough break on the draw. Nate: Now the pressure is on. Tyler: What do you mean? Nate: Both you and Marcus have the same amount of points. You have to win to get through the group and hope Marcus draws or losses. If Marcus wins, then the person going through is decided on how many Pokemon the trainer had remaining in the battle they just had. Jon: That’s the same for me then. Nate: Not really. You and Tyson both have 6 points, yet your next opponent is Tyson. If you win then Tyson loses, if you both draw then the same thing happens. Tyler: And if Jon loses then bye bye. Jon: Let’s go and see Ralph’s match. I said I’d pop by and watch him after seeing your match. Tyler: Yeah, you coming Nate? Nate: No. I’m going to go back to the trainers block. Jon: Right, see you later. Referee: Begin! Barry: Diglett, use Mud-Slap! Ralph: Golbat! Ralph: Good going, now Golbat, Supersonic! Jon: That was a good strategy. Barry: Now, use Hyper Beam. Tyler: Who’s using Hyper Beam? Ralph: Golbat, you okay? Now Bubble Beam! Barry: I now know. Ralph: Know what? Barry: Final Gambit Diglett on Poliwrath! Commentator: The explosion caused the confusion to stop on Smeargle. Referee: Both Poliwrath and Diglett are unable to battle. Tyler: What is Final Gambit? It has a lot of power. Jon: It’s a move which renders the user unable to battle. However the higher the HP the user has, the more damage the opponents take. Tyler: I see. I bet Ralph wasn’t expecting that. Ralph: Only Golbat left. Barry: You seem disappointed. Use Volt Tackle! Ralph: Dodge it! Commentator: Golbat is hit with Volt Tackle. Smeargle and Barry have put together a good range of attacks from Smeargle’s signature move, Sketch. Ralph: You okay to continue Golbat? Ralph: Then use Air Cutter! Barry: Metronome! Barry: Not the move I was hoping for. Commentator: With Metronome choosing a random move, Smeargle got Rest. Whether or not that will help Barry, time will tell. Ralph: Use Bite! Jon: This is the only chance Ralph has of winning. Tyler: Why? Jon: Rest heals the user fully, but they stay asleep. Tyler: So it’s only a matter of time before Smeargle wakes up. Jon: And who knows what the next Metronome will be. Ralph: Poison Fang! Jon: Poisoned! Barry: Oh no! We need to finish this fast! Hyper Beam! Ralph: Dodge and then Air Cutter! Commentator: A direct hit from Air Cutter! Ralph: Now, Supersonic! Commentator: With Smeargle now confused and poisoned, its only a matter of time. Barry: Metronome. Ralph: Keep an eye on Smeargle. Tyler: What will Smeargle get? Jon: The good thing is Smeargle is confused, so it has an even smaller chance of trying to get a good move. Referee: Smeargle is unable to battle, Ralph wins! Ralph: Yes! Good work Golbat. Jon: Good battle Ralph. Ralph: Thanks. Tyler: Luke, Mary and I are in the morning. Ralph: I’m in the afternoon. Jon: Tyson and I have the last battle of the day. This will be an eventful day. Tyler: Ryan won his last match as well, not losing a single Pokemon. Jon: He always has been overconfident. Ralph: Seems to be doing him some good. Mary: It’s a good thing Ralph won. Nate: Luke, you better be careful. Your opponent has a powerful Pokemon. Luke: I know. Besides, Tyler and Jon have the most difficult battles tomorrow.
