Geoff Hurst is an English striker most famous for being the only player to score a hat-trick in the World Cup final which he did in England's successful attempt in 1966 with a 4-2 win in the final with Martin Peters scoring the other goal against West Germany He began his footballing career at West Ham United scoring 242 goals in 500 appearances (close to a goal every 2 games). During that spell at West Ham, he won the FA Cup in 1964 and the European Cup Winner's Cup in the following year.
