Derilyn-class platforms were armed with 80 heavy turbolaser batteries and 40 dual heavy turbolaser cannons, and could surpass the firepower of whole fleets. A full wing—twelve squadrons; 144 ships total—of starfighters defended the station from smaller ships. Even blockading such a platform would not cause it to surrender any time soon, as they carried five years worth of supplies in case of such an event.
