Bucketfunk was a short-lived funk/blues band from San Antonio, Texas. Formed by Matthew Ultch (lead guitar, lead vocals), Greg Marshall Rhoades (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Victor Holmes (drums) in 1996, the band grew quickly. Victor Holmes was soon replaced by Hafshine "Afee" Sohrabi on drums, with Greg Rhoades on bass guitar and Matt Ultch on electric guitar and vocals. This three-piece was the basis for nearly the entire term of the band's reign as the only original San Antonio funk band in the mid-to-late 1990s. The band released one studio album and two live albums.
