Aidan bought a 40% of the business and later moved into the Rovers with Michelle and her husband Steve McDonald. In September Aidan received messages from his father, Johnny Connor, telling him he knew what he had done. While in the factory with Carla, Johnny and Kate Connor, burst into the room and demanded to have his money back. Carla then realised that the money Aidan had used to buy the factory was in fact stolen from Johnny.
