The Lizard Squadron was a talented squadron of clone troopers. It was once lead by two Jedi—the squadron's founder, Vinpo Pocam, and his Padawan, Jiin Sol—but the Padawan was shot in the back on the planet Ryloth by a B2 battle droid. The squadron was lead by Commander Gut. Pocam found a new Padawan, named Shihu Smido, who eventually became a Jedi Master a week later. The commander of the squadron, Gut, was once a Galactic Marine. There were two commanders in the squad, so Gut was moved to the Lizard Squadron.
