  • Michael Bloomberg is the mayor of New York City, having taken over the job from America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani. He is an eccentric billionaire, which should make him immensely likeable to Stephen Colbert, however, Mayor Bloomberg is a flip-flopper. Image:TCRLogoBright1.jpg

  • Michael Rubens Bloomberg is the former Mayor of New York City after 9/11, that awesome liberal stronghold in New York State. He was a Democrat (good) for all his life up until running for mayor as a Republican (bad), because he couldn't be bothered to fend off other Democrats in the primaries (lazy). The trouble was he was pro-choice, anti-death penalty, pro-immigration, pro-stem cell research, and generally un-Republican. So he left the Gas, Oil, and Petrol party to become an Independent (good if they legislate like a liberal). Bill de Blasio has been elected to replace Bloomberg (good).
  • Michael Bloomberg was a Mayor of New York City. He held that office from 2002 to the end of 2013, after Rudolph Giuliani. In 2004, he held a press conference condemning the murder of ADA Daniel Tenofsky, and a second one to comment on the end of the case. (L&O: "Nowhere Man") The same year, he held a press conference with District Attorney Arthur Branch following the arrest of Nadira Harrington on suspicion of murder. (L&O: "Paradigm")

  • Michael "Mike" Rubens Bloomberg (born February 14, 1942) is an American business magnate, politician, and philanthropist. With a net worth of US$48.3 billion as of August 2016, Bloomberg is the 6th richest person in the United States and the 8th richest in the world. Bloomberg is the founder, CEO, and owner of Bloomberg L.P., the global financial data and media company that bears his name, and is notable for its Bloomberg Terminal, which is widely used by investment professionals around the world. Bloomberg began his career at the securities brokerage Salomon Brothers, before forming his own company in 1981 and spending the next twenty years as its Chairman and CEO. Bloomberg also served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at his alma mater, Johns Hopkins University, from 1996 to 2002. Bloomberg served as the 108th Mayor of New York City, holding office for three consecutive terms, beginning with his first election in 2001. A Democrat before seeking elective office, Bloomberg switched his party registration in 2001 to run for Mayor as a Republican. Bloomberg defeated opponent Mark Green in a close election held just weeks after the September 11 terrorist attacks. Bloomberg won a second term in 2005, and left the Republican Party two years later. Bloomberg campaigned to change the city's term limits law, and was elected to his third term in 2009 as an Independent candidate on the Republican ballot line. Bloomberg was frequently mentioned as a possible candidate for the U.S. Presidential elections in 2008, and 2012, as well as for Governor of New York in 2010. Bloomberg declined to seek either office, instead opting to continue serving as the Mayor of New York City. On January 1, 2014, Bill de Blasio succeeded Bloomberg as the Mayor of New York City. After a brief stint as a full-time philanthropist, Bloomberg re-assumed the position of CEO at Bloomberg L.P. the end of 2014. On March 7, 2016, Bloomberg announced that he would not run as a third party candidate in the 2016 Presidential election despite widespread speculation that he would, and later endorsed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for President.

(L&O: "Nowhere Man") The same year, he held a press conference with District Attorney Arthur Branch following the arrest of Nadira Harrington on suspicion of murder. (L&O: "Paradigm") In 2006, after an explosion that killed an 8-year old girl, Bloomberg was demanding the New York City district attorney office to bring the perpetrator to justice immediately. As an ambassador for the city, Bloomberg has often appeared as himself on television shows ranging from the Law & Order franchise to the Late Show with David Letterman. For the Jim Henson's Fantastic World exhibit at The Museum of the Moving Image, Mayor Bloomberg lent his Muppet likeness to be displayed at the museum. On April 13, 2012, Bloomberg proclaimed the Muppets as the NYC Family Ambassadors of 2012.

The trouble was he was pro-choice, anti-death penalty, pro-immigration, pro-stem cell research, and generally un-Republican. So he left the Gas, Oil, and Petrol party to become an Independent (good if they legislate like a liberal). He's also the eighth richest person in America, which means he is fiscally conservative (bad). He also got the NY legislature to ignore the term limit so he could run again, wich is not democratic. He has some socially liberal positions, but he also has many conservative positions. He supports New York's strict, draconian drug laws, was a strong advocate of the War in Iraq, endorsed George W. Bush in the 2004 U.S. Presidential Election, and has defended Stop and Frisk, which has been criticized by many liberals for leading to racial profiling. He won re-election in 2009 by less than 5%, as a Independent, however he was endorsed by the Republican party which didn't allow anyone to run for their nomination and backed Bloomberg. He also pumped Millions of his own money into his campaign giving him a unfair advantage. Bill de Blasio has been elected to replace Bloomberg (good).
