  • Captain Cold, also known as Leonard Snart, is a comic book villain created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino as one of the archenemies of The Flash. A fan favorite, Captain Cold has served as a bitter enemy to the Silver-Age Flash Barry Allen, both enemy and grudging friend to the modern-day Flash Wally West, and one of the killers of the fourth Flash Bart Allen. Cold was the second supervillain to face the Silver-Age Flash in Showcase #8 (February 1957).
  • Leonard "Len" Snart was a criminal who wanted a chance to get rid of the Flash. Seeing an article about a weapon that might disrupt the Flash's speed, Snart made a gun and exposed it to the radiation. However, instead of slowing the Flash down, the gun could freeze anything to absolute zero. Calling himself Captain Cold, Snart started out on a criminal career. He is considered to be the arch-nemesis of both Barry Allen and Wally West, and the leader of the Rogues. Known for being a sympathetic villain, Cold has a sense of honor. Cold has strict rules on how the Rogues should act, such as no drugs and to not kill unless they have to. Also has a sense of loyalty to his team and watches out for them.
  • Captain Cold was an enemy of the Flash.
  • Captain Cold is a villain of the Flash who lives in Central City, and hangs out with a bunch of other guys in silly dresses who shoot strange objects out of their guns. He was named the leader of the Rogues, in a competition over who swears the most. Can you guess what his theme is? ... Correct!
  • Raised by an abusive father, Len Snart sought to start a criminal career following the death of his grandfather. At first, he attempted simple thievery with a band of thugs. After this failed to produce satisfactory results, he went solo. During a botched robbery of a cyclotron, Snart's gun was altered by the cyclotron's radiation, allowing it fire beams of pure cold, and from time to time, cast illusions. Putting togther a blue and white parka, Len became Captain Cold, one of the Flash's deadlist enemies. He is currently the leader of the Rogue's Gallery. But in the New 52, after the Crime Syndicate was defeated, Cold stopped his life of crime and became a member of the Justice League along with Lex Luthor.
  • Captain Cold was an enemy of the Flash. He later joins the Black Marauder's Legion Of Villains in hopes of destroying the Flash.
  • Captain Cold is armed with a special gun that allows him to freeze people and objects.
  • Len Snart used a miniature stolen cyclotron as a gun which shot ice that reduced temperatures to absolute zero. Most of his crimes were in attempt to win the heart of a lady. Often he would team up with Heat Wave or his sister, Golden Glider. Cold escaped from prison when he learned that the Picture News was planning to raise $100,000 at a charity event, which he planned to steal. However, Trickster (James Jesse) had done the same thing. At first competing for the money, they decided to join forces when they were pursued but not only one, but two Flashes, as Jay Garrick had briefly come out of retirement. The pair successfully made their getaway, but were later captured when the two speedsters lured them into a trap by claiming that a recently discovered meteorite contained a fortune in di
  • On the parallel-universe of Earth-One, Lenard Snart was a down on his luck guy until one day, after reading a newspaper story that theorized that a cyclotron could possibly stop the Flash, Snart breaks into a science lab and uses the Cyclotron on a weapon of his own devising. Mostly by accident, Snart creates a freezing weapon that leads to the birth of his costumed identity: Captain Cold. He soon finds himself in prison. Fortunately Jay, with the help of Barry, are able to transport the meteor ore to Jay's universe and save Jay's world.
