The Yamato Intersolar Commune, officially the Grand Intersolar Territories of the Core Yamato Commune, commonly just YIC or New Imperial Japan, is a sovereign star nation stands at the heart of GACS, and a polygalactic superpower, with core territories sprawing across Northeastward to Eastward space of APAC, and colonial interests throughout virtually all space known to Men. As de facto hyperstate, they have BZs with countless civilizations of different sizes, including several dozens great powers across their North to Southwards space, while facing the Unknown on the East.

  • The Yamato Intersolar Commune, officially the Grand Intersolar Territories of the Core Yamato Commune, commonly just YIC or New Imperial Japan, is a sovereign star nation stands at the heart of GACS, and a polygalactic superpower, with core territories sprawing across Northeastward to Eastward space of APAC, and colonial interests throughout virtually all space known to Men. As de facto hyperstate, they have BZs with countless civilizations of different sizes, including several dozens great powers across their North to Southwards space, while facing the Unknown on the East. The Yamato empire is divided among three parts: the Core, the Ring and the Frontier, all of which are constituent polities, sharing same unified confederate government and central authority, with equal status. There's another 4th part: the Yamatoran extra-universe territories, function as self-ruled polities and linked through a labyrinth of mutual treaties, economic cooperations and common interests;DEUT is the only one with real power within these space. The Core galaxies, where only 15,1% of population concentrated, are the central power, where most of the empire's affairs occur. Due to this, both Ring and Outer systems are heavily depend on the Core in external affairs and defense, despite them maintaining own internal matters. Nonetheless, both Ring and Outer galaxies enjoy substantial autonomy; agree to pay taxes and contribute to the army, in return for benefiting from collective defense and the prosperity of the Core. Technically, the Core is the root of YIC, forming in time immemorial, when human nations spread through space, wherein both the Ring worlds and Far-reached systems were Yamatoran associated territories, with the former were colonies, settled mainly by Japanese-Korean rooted explorers, and the later were incorporated more as client states through the constitution. The empire in its current formed was formed with the proclamation of the Yamato empire in 2322 AT, 2nd era, when the /Tricameron/ granted great extents of autonomy to extragalactic territories, while at the same time, reduced Core worlds to equal status. The nature of the YIC at best is in-between confederation and federation, Eastasia feudal-styled. At its worse, it is an asymmetrically federal state, despite all members are subject to the same throne, government and charted as co-equal. De facto, the Core worlds, accounting for only a small faction of population, are the most influences and powerful. Despite lacking own devolved government, the Core worlds however contain the majority of YIC's central ruling bodies, with perhaps the exception of DEUT and OFDS, in charge of maintaining extra-universe and far-reached territories, and with most of representations (due to their concentrations of economy, cultural spheres and R&D in hi-tech). Central authority focus on the /Lord Consul/, supreme ruler of the Commune, who in turn delegates parts of power to both his or her appointed chief deputy (the /Coordinator/) and the parliament. Within Core worlds' boundaries are their own confederal system, with 53 territories, 366 domains and their own constitution. Beyond them, the vast interstellar domain of the Yamato is splitted between Ring worlds and the Far-reached. Ring worlds or Ring systems are star systems that directly spreading and connected to the Core, featuring a federalized cultural system, similar to that of the 3rd Imperium, and forming a ring-liked (hence the name) wall surrounding the Core. Such systems are designed to meet the needs of those hugely culturally diverse regions. The Far-reached, or the Frontier, is another story: Composed of their space-faring territories, this region's polities are largely associated or vassal nations. They're allowed to keep to themselves, with their own identities, cultures or traditions, as long as they do not hurt their neighbors in anyway. The OFDS's located here, from which numberous governors are appointed to make sure those polities stay linked to the empire. Each polity or civilization here is allowed to have its own representative in central parliament.
