Senseless Destruction is the second scenario in The World Tree, the fifth part of Heroes Chronicles. Tarnum faced a unified army as the necromancers searching for the World Tree united under a red banner, but the undead were also joined by a group of barbarians calling themselves the Followers of Vorr. These barbarians throw themselves into combat to kill or be killed for the glory of Vorr, and are not interested in negotiations. With reinforcements from the surface, Tarnum managed to defeat the nearby necromancers.

  • Senseless Destruction is the second scenario in The World Tree, the fifth part of Heroes Chronicles. From the shaman Addar, Tarnum learned that Vorr was one of the Ancestors. A group of barbarians from Krewlod turned one of their ancient kings into a war god, hoping that he would inspire them to greatness. One of the Ancestors accepted this worship, drew power from it, and took the form of a war god, calling himself Vorr. Tarnum feared that the barbarian king that the people of Krewlod worshipped was himself from his time as the Barbarian Tyrant. He didn't think he could defeat one of the Ancestors in battle, but hoped he could stop him from destroying the World Tree. With reinforcements from the surface, Tarnum managed to defeat the nearby necromancers.
