Romus became one of the more successful 'converts' of Uldyssian, and eventually acted as his right-hand man. When Serenthia was possessed by the demoness Lilith, Romus fell under her sway. This caused Romus to relapse into his old ways. Romus even willingly betrayed his devoted master to Lillith, who rewarded him by slaying him as a sacrificial offering. However, before he died, the redeemed Romus returned, his last act being one of defiance towards his murderer.
