  • His story in Compact 3 begins with him being pitted with his brother Fernando Albark in a holy deathmatch about who gets to be a Shura general. On top of beating Fernando, Folka's doubts reaches its peak and leaves the Shura, leaving his brother extremely bitter. Folka goes off to join the Londo Bell and proceeds to search for a new lifestyle of the Shura. He faces lots of his brethrens and is forced to kill them, ultimately defeating Shura King Alkaid Naash and is anointed the new King. Folka leads his remaining people with the new lifestyle of Shura. In Original Generation Gaiden, this story gets a bit of a revamp: there's no holy deathmatch. Instead, he finds a rivalry with Ordinary High School Student Kouta Azuma, after he dons the Roar Armor, becoming the Henshin Hero "Fighter Roar". Folka kidnaps Kouta's younger sister Shouko per a deal with Duminuss to goad Kouta into fighting him. Ironically, Folka didn't expect to be persuaded by Shouko to stop the rivalry, leading him to develop a relationship, fall in love and make a decision to protect her, ultimately becoming the reason why he defects. The rest of the story goes pretty much the same as Compact 3, except he gets his Mid-Season Upgrade in the middle of battle as opposed to in the middle of a intermission dialogue. That, and not all his brethrens (including Fernando) end up dead. Folka's mecha is the Shura God Ialdabaoth, which transforms into the godly Apotheosized Ialdabaoth. They embody these tropes: * Ancestral Weapon (Ialdabaoth is centuries old) * Aloof Big Brother (Towards Fernando, who's louder than him) * Art Evolution (Not so much for him, but for Apotheosized Ialdabaoth. In Compact 3, it is a solid white version of the regular Ialdabaoth with a different design for the feet. In OG Gaiden, it has been completely redone to look white with more reddish highlights and looks overall more human-like.) * Badass (Comes in parcel with him being Kenshiro's Expy, making Folka a contender of SRW's top tier badasses like Sanger Zonvolt) * But Now I Must Go (End of Original Generation Gaiden) * Cain and Abel (Inverted: he's the the good "Cain", while Fernando's one bad "Abel") * Death Glare (Apotheosized Ialdabaoth's Shin Kishin Ken; may double as another Shout-Out to Hokuto Shinken about Kenshiro and his older brother Raoh's test of subduing a tiger with just their Battle Aura) * Defector From Decadence * Expy (Folka's tailored to be the Expy of Kenshiro when he's brought to Original Generation. The Endless Frontier sequel gives him his own Expy called "Alady Naash") * Fan Nickname ("Kenshiro") * Fish Out of Water (Only at one point, when he meets Princess Shine Hausen; his first reaction is thinking her title makes her a complete Badass) * To be fair, he got the badass part right. * Leitmotif ("Crimson God Of Carnage") * Lightning Bruiser (Even more augmented he has BOTH the Soul Spirit Command and Mirror Image (50% chance of perfect evasion)...and that's before the Apotheosized Ialdabaoth)) * Ho Yay, Foe Yay (Shippers love to pair him up with Fernando) * Ki Attacks * Megaton Punch (Apotheosized Ialdabaoth's Shinha Gou Shou Sen; the punch winds up with someone getting punched through and shatters a mountain) * Which causes both the foe AND THE MOUNTAIN to explode if it winds up being a Dynamic Kill. * Mid-Season Upgrade * Proud Warrior Race Guy * Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs (Ialdabaoth's Kouha Kishin Ken and Apotheosized Ialdabaoth's Shinha Gou Shou Sen) * Recycled in Space * Redheaded Hero * Ryu and Ken (Again, him-Fernando, Ialdabaoth-Valefor (Fernando's Shura God)) * Shout-Out (Kishin Mougeki Ken -> Hokuto Hiei Ken (and its opening walk is like Kenshiro during the "Ai Wo Torimodose" opening), Kouha Kishin Ken -> Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken (or Hokuto Ujou Mou Shou Ha). Hell, every mighty attack always gets followed with showing the kanji of the attack name on-screen) * Spam Attack (Other than those Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs, there's also Shinha Kou Ken, where he spams energy bolts. Folka loves to spam) * Spell My Name with an "S" (Is it Folka or Phorka? And lets not get started on Ialdabaoth's spelling; that's a tongue-twister in its own right) * Star-Crossed Lovers (Him and Shouko; also mixes in May-December Romance) * Too Many Belts (His outfit is loaded with it) * Fridge Brilliance (Considering Kenshiro had a habit of losing his shirt every other second, the belts may be a way of preventing Folka from accidentally winding up naked while in combat.)
