Mardük's Prison used to be a magical temple prison on the Jihao province which was said to contain the body of the dark god Mardük. The Clergy of Mardük were actively trying to find ways to break the seal of the prison to free their god and finally succeeded in it during the Second Battle of Kageshima. Mardük's release left the former prison in ruins and it remains as a reminder of the dark god's former taint on the land of Yamato in the years since the Cataclysm. Traces of dark magic still linger in the area which demons of the Eastern Horde are leeching for their own use.
