Upayanâ Daenism is one of the three main branches of Daenism that crystalized as a distinct school around the 2nd century CE in Aldegar, born from the many early Daenic schools. Upayanâ tends to be very conservative about matters of doctrine and monastic discipline and explicitly rejects the innovations introduced by the other two schools. Upayanâ is practiced primarily in South Dovani.
