| - The story begins with Goku attempting to teach Pan how to achieve the Super Saiyan form. After a particularly brutal session, Pan asks him if anyone's stronger than him. This awakens the Dragon Balls, resting nearby, which shoot out a flash of light. When it clears, Broly stands before them, more powerful than ever before. He immediately attacks, knocking Pan out of the fight. Goku (in his child form), fights desperately against Broly, but is quickly knocked across the city. Meanwhile, Trunks arrives, finding Pan defeated, then flies out to join Goku. He attempts to battle Broly, but is quickly defeated as well. Before taking cover, he sends a distress signal to Goten, who goes to join him. When Goten arrives, they quickly fuse into an adult Gotenks, attacking Broly anew. While Broly is surprised by their fusion, he still easily outmaneuvers them, claiming he is even stronger than Goku. Gotenks is quickly beaten down and defuses. Meanwhile, Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan 3, and rejoins the battle, but can still barely keep up with Broly. Broly smashes him through several buildings, then flies over, only to be met with a Double Kamehameha. Pushed back somewhat, Broly brings the building down on Goku. Meanwhile, Vegeta appears and transforms into a Super Saiyan 2, wishing to defeat Broly himself. He is to pummeled. Just when it looks like all hope is lost, Gohan arrives. Upgrading to his Mystic form, he quickly engages Broly, but can barely even scratch him. He is dropkicked through a city block. Suddenly the building Goku is under blows up, and Goku emerges, now a Super Saiyan 4. He fires a 10x Kamehameha, which appears to blow Broly away. However, he remains, though heavily injured. Vegeta arrives, and quickly ascends to a Super Saiyan 4, offering fusion. Goku agrees, and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta is born, stronger than ever. After knocking Broly around for a bit, Gogeta decides that he needs to get rid of Broly for good. He begins charging a Universal Spirit Bomb. Broly attempts to attack him, but is stopped by Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks, who attempts to distract him but is defeated. As Broly gloats, he looks up as the Spirit Bomb strikes him, destroying him completely, and presumably destroying the city and Z-Fighters as well. Suddenly Goku wakes up, knocked unconscious by a surprise blow from Pan. He gets up and offers to train her some more.
