| - The level begins with the Kongs landing on a wooden floor. A room inside a tree is behind the Kongs and it holds a single Banana Coin in the air. As the Kongs pass their landing point, they can continue until they find a Spore Chomp at the end of the floor. The Spore Chomp fires five spores in different directions, so before the apes attack, they must avoid touching the Spore Chomp's deadly spores and losing a Heart. After the Spore Chomp attacks, it takes a while to attack again, so the apes can jump on the Chomp to defeat it. Directly after the Spore Chomp's area is a gap with a light brown totem pole moving up and down in a diagonal way. The apes can jump onto this totem pole's top where they can find another brown totem pole that has a bigger "head" than the previous one and the one after it. This totem pole tilts left to right in a diagonal way, however, the Kongs cannot fall off of it if stationary. Here, the apes can jump onto a lower, light brown totem pole which is exactly the same type of totem pole as the first. On this third totem pole's top, the apes can see a small platform they can jump to with another one hidden in the leaves above it. Some Squeeklies attack here, so the apes must be careful when jumping here. On this small platform, the apes can find two propeller-like plants and a large strange plant, both of which are from the Jungle (Donkey Kong Country Returns), and a small reddish area between the propeller-like plants and the large strange plant. The strange plant can be pounded on for a collectible most likely, and the propeller-like plants can be blown on for a collectible, most likely. The reddish area between the plants can be pounded to create a small red mushroom (also if the Kongs pound the strange plant, the mushroom also pops out because the apes are pounding near the red area which it comes out of) which the Kongs can bounce on to reach the floor covered in the leaves. The leaves move away, to reveal the rest of the platform where the apes can find a Banana Coin. However, the mushroom only stays up for a short time before it goes back in its red spot, though it does not disappear for good. So, with that being said, it can go back in its red spot and come back out again if its spot is pounded. Anyway, after this platform, there is a gap with a light brown totem pole moving up and down in a diagonal way. Three Bananas are lined above the totem pole's "head". The Kongs can jump here from either the top (hidden) platform or the bottom (lower) platform. There is a small platform that the Kongs can jump to from here that holds three Bananas and a propeller-like plant that can be blown on for a Banana, however, some Squeeklies appear here. The Kongs can still jump here, but with caution. Ahead of this platform is a gap with two similar, light brown totem poles in view, both poles having three Bananas above them. The apes can jump to the first totem pole, and then onto the second totem pole. On this second totem pole, a floor can be seen that the Kongs can jump to. The Kongs should jump here. A dandelion is on the floor's left edge that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely, a Tiki Goon who walks on the same part of floor that the dandelion is on, and a Spore Chomp is on a ceiling above the middle of the floor. There is a strange area covered in leaves that creates a hole in the middle of the floor. Also, the letter K of the K-O-N-G Letters is directly below the Spore Chomp and can be reached with a jump. The primates can now fall into the leaves to cause them to move. This reveals a floor that has two alleys: one on the right and one on the left, both of which go underneath the floor. The left alley has two Banana Bunches and a Puzzle Piece, and the right alley has three Banana Bunches. Being aware of the Spore Chomp above, the Kongs should carefully (after they collect everything) hop onto the second half of the floor where a Tiki Goon roams about. There is also a propeller-like plant that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely. Ahead of this platform is a gap. Grayish-colored totem poles appear from the gap and head right. When a gray totem pole appears, the Kongs can jump onto it, and let it take them a large totem-pole head platform. There is a trail of ten Bananas that the Kongs can collect along the way. If the apes collect every Banana along the trail without falling into the abyss and losing an Extra Life Balloon, a Puzzle Piece appears just before the large, totem pole head platform above it. When the totem poles approach the platform, some Squeeklies approach the Kongs. Also, when the totem poles near the Kongs, they start to shake in a fashion that cannot knock off the Kongs, but can warn them that they are going to fall into the abyss. They shake faster as time gets closer for the totem poles to fall into the abyss. So, before the apes are carried into the abyss, they should jump on the large, totem pole head platform, which slowly tilts left to right in a diagonal way. Some more Squeeklies attack here. At the end of this totem pole head platform, the apes can find a Tiki Goon moving back and forth on a small log and another Tiki Goon after this one on a log as well, which moves back and forth. These logs are very small so the Kongs must watch where they land. Anyway, the apes can jump on the first Tiki Goon on the small log platform, and then jump onto the second Tiki Goon on the small log platform. Here, the apes can jump onto a third Tiki Goon on a small log platform who moves back and forth. On this third log platform, the apes can see the Tutorial Pig hosting the first checkpoint on what looks like a small floor. Anyway the apes can jump here. Immediately after the checkpoint is a manhole-shaped cover that can be pounded on to cause it to flip over with the Kongs and let them enter a Bonus Room. Next to this manhole-shaped cover, a large purple totem pole structure comes out of a gap ahead and opens its mouth, creating a wooden passageway through it. However, this totem pole closes its mouth shortly after it opens it so the apes must quickly roll-jump through the passageway created when its mouth is opened to avoid being crushed and losing a Heart or two. The Kongs will land on a long wooden platform that holds a single propeller-like plant that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely. At the edge of the platform, the Kongs can notice a large gap. Grayish totem poles move left (the opposite direction of which the Kongs are heading) and fall into the abyss below the wooden platform, however, the apes have no choice but to cross this. So, the apes must jump from gray totem pole to gray totem pole while collecting Bananas and Banana Bunches that can be reached when they jump to a totem pole. The Kongs must keep going (jumping from moving totem pole to moving totem pole) until they reach a large, totem pole head platform which tilts left to right slowly. Here, the apes can find a small log platform that they can jump to. The apes have now reached an area full of small log platforms and wooden platforms and strange plants that can be pounded on for collectibles, however, to make the task of getting though here and pounding the strange plants more difficult, the area is infested with Spore Chomps. The letter O can be found near the first Spore Chomp, who is on a ceiling. Below the letter O is a small log platform with a red area on it. The Kongs can pound the red area to cause a red mushroom to appear. Now, the apes can bounce on the red mushroom to collect the letter, however, they must watch out for the Spore Chomp's spores. As the apes travel through this Spore Chomp-infested area, they must watch out for the many deadly spores that are fired in five different directions. The Kongs can fight back, however, by jumping on the Spore Chomps on the ground. After this Spore Chomp- infested area, the Kongs can jump onto a large, totem pole head platform. Some Squeeklies approach the Kongs here. Directly after this is a Bopapodamus next to two similar, light brown-colored totem poles. Above the Bopapodamus is a Banana Coin that can be reached with a high bounce off the hippo-like "enemy". The apes can bounce on the Bopapodamus to reach the first light brown totem pole, however, Bopapodami can only take four hits before they faint and fall into the abyss with a POW. On the first light brown totem pole, the apes can then jump to the similar light brown totem pole after it. From this totem pole, the apes can jump onto a small, wooden floor with the Tutorial Pig hosting the second checkpoint. After this platform, there is a gap with a light brown totem pole moving up and down in a diagonal way. The Kongs can jump onto this totem pole to find a small log platform just ahead that they can jump to. On this small log platform, the Kongs will notice a large purple totem pole structure, so large that it takes up half of the screen! Anyway, this totem pole is asleep, however, the Tutorial Pig may appear and show the apes a way to wake it up and continue on. If the apes blow on the totem pole's "ear", which is the round thing attached to the totem pole directly to the right of the small log platform, the totem pole wakes up. It opens its mouth (note: the totem pole is upside down so the apes have to jump up and right to enter its mouth) which creates a wooden passageway that the apes can go through, however, much like the previous, it closes its mouth shortly after it opens it. So, to avoid being crushed, the Kongs must quickly roll-jump through its passageway. However, it is best to wait until the totem pole opens its mouth for the second time and roll-jump through it, for if the Kongs try to first time, they have a 50% chance of being crushed. The Kongs will, after roll-jumping out of the mouth of the totem pole, land on a light brown totem pole that moves up and down in a diagonal way. Another light brown totem pole is ahead and it has a bigger "head" than the one before it (which the apes are on now). Some Squeeklies also attack here, so the apes must be careful when they are trying to land on this second light brown totem pole. This totem pole sways left to right diagonally, much like the other totem poles that move left to right do. After this totem pole is a similar light brown totem pole that is lower than the previous and holds three Bananas on it. The Kongs can jump here. There is another light brown totem pole with a Banana Bunch on its "head" after this third light brown totem pole. The Kongs can jump here to find a gap where gray totem poles appear and head up diagonally. The Kongs can see the gray totem poles shaking just from this light brown totem pole, so you know that once the Kongs jump here, they soon have to jump off. Anyway, the Kongs should jump on a gray totem pole when it appears and prepare themselves to jump again. The gray totem poles near a large, totem pole head platform. The letter N is just above the area where the totem poles shake faster, however, some Squeeklies also fly past this area at this point. So, a Squeekly must be high-bounced off of to reach the letter N. Anyway, the Kongs should jump onto this large, totem pole head platform. At the edge of this totem pole head platform, the heroes can find a gap with gray totem poles appearing out of it and heading right. They go in a pattern, for a small-headed totem pole appears and then a totem pole with a bigger head appears after it, and it continues from there. There is a small ceiling covered in grassy turf with a small strange plant on it, that can be pounded on for a Banana Bunch. The grassy turf on the ceiling is right above the gap with the totem poles heading right. Also, some Squeeklies appear from here. The Kongs can jump onto a gray totem pole and then jump and cling onto the grassy turf to reach the plant. They can then drop down onto another gray totem pole. The totem pole can take the Kongs to another grassy turf-covered ceiling with a large strange plant on it. The apes can jump and cling onto the grassy turf. Up here, while hanging, the Kongs can then pound the large strange plant for a Puzzle Piece. When the apes drop down onto a gray totem pole, they soon have to jump onto a larg, grassy turf-covered ceiling, for the totem poles begin to shake and fall into the abyss. Up on the grassy turf, the Kongs can head forward while collecting many Bananas along a trail on the grassy turf. The apes will soon near a large floor with the first and only DK Barrel of the level and a hidden platform covered in the leaves above it, however, there is a strange Banana before the floor right beneath the apes. If the apes drop down into the Banana from either the grassy turf or the floor, they can enter a skull Barrel Cannon which fires the apes to a second Bonus Room (skull Barrel Cannons/Auto-Fire Barrels destroy themselves (explode) after firing the Kongs). On the floor, the primates can find a large strange plant after the DK Barrel, which can be pounded on for a Banana Coin. Here, the apes can continue on to the floor's edge where they will find the letter G next to the leaves covering the hidden platform. Also, a gap is after this wooden floor and it holds many light brown totem poles with Tiki Goons on them, which oddly, move up and down the correct way. The apes can jump onto the first Tiki Goon on the light brown totem pole. Here, they can roll-jump/jump and hover to the leaves covering the hidden platform. The leaves go away to reveal a Puzzle Piece on the platform, which can be collected. So, the apes have collected the letter G and a Puzzle Piece in one move! Wow, an all-in-one move! Anyway, from the first light brown totem pole, the apes can jump to a second Tiki Goon on a light brown totem pole. The apes can then jump to a third Tiki Goon on a light brown totem pole and then onto a fourth Tiki Goon on a light brown totem pole. Here, the apes can now jump onto a large, totem pole head platform. Some Squeeklies fly by here. At the edge of the large, totem pole head platform, the apes can find a gap where five Bopapodami appear (from the platform you can only see three though). With the help of the Bopapodami, the Kongs can cross the large gap safely, however, they're many Bananas also located not too high above the hippo "enemies". The Kongs can also use the Bopapodami to bounce to the Bananas, however, they must try not to bounce on a Bopapodamus four times in a row, or it will faint and fall into the abyss. Also, if the heroes go too low underneath another Bopapodamus, it can swat them away, causing them to fall and lose a life (note why they're called enemies). After the fifth Bopapodamus, the Kongs can land on a floor with a propeller-like plant that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely, and a large golden switch. If the apes near this switch, they can see a HUGE totem pole come out of the gap nearby. If the apes pound the switch, the totem pole lowers a bit. So, if the switch is pounded three time, the totem pole goes all the way down until its purple head is in view. The purple head opens its mouth, revealing the Slot Machine Barrel, however, there is also a hole in the middle of its mouth. No, this is no hole leading to a Bonus Room, IT IS A HOLE OF INSTANT DEATH!!! Also, the purple totem head opens and closes its mouth like the previous two encountered before. So, the apes must jump into its mouth when it has just been open and jump into the Slot Machine Barrel to avoid falling into the hole beneath it. When the Slot Machine Barrel is hit, the level is complete.
