- Cutpurse is a type of monster in ADOM. They are fairly weak humans that can steal the PC's gold. They are mainly found in Lawenilothehl, but may also appear in dungeons. All gold stolen by a monster is carried by that monster and can be reclaimed by killing it, except (as of 1.2.0) when it disappears, as indicated by the message "The (monster) chuckles with hateful glee as the god of thieves immediately takes his share!"
- Cutpurse was an obese clown who assisted the Razan with their activities. He worked with Abrit in trying to locate Ben, Ned, Karay, and Dominic. Ben rescued Karay outside of Veron from Cutpurse, who had chained her to the wheel of his cart after they escaped prison in Léon, France. Previously, they had worked together as a traveling act which involved pickpocketing; it was Cutpurse's pickpocketing that got them imprisoned. After Abrit fired a musket on a snowy mountain cliff, an avalanche resulted in both his and Cutpurse's deaths.

These common thieves prowl around the cities of Ancardia, spending their lives as pickpockets instead of in honest trades. They are usually quite weak, but willing to fight if caught in the act or cornered.
