Frank Alfred Harbord DFM (12 September 1918 – 19 January 2010) was a member of the Royal Air Force in the Second World War, and flew on many missions over German occupied Europe. He was stationed in Watton with 82 sqn in 1940. In 1941 he carried out low level shipping strikes and raids over northern France with 18 Sqn from RAF Oulton. A circus operation carried out against a large power station in Northern France led by Sqn/Ldr S J Monroe DFC brought a rare congratulatory signal from Stevenson. In 1941 he was with 105 sqn in Malta where he again took part in low level attacks on shipping. He also served in Burma and India with 60 sqn.
