Huron Park is a residential community that was formerly part of Royal Canadian Air Force Station Centralia. The base was closed in 1966. The fire department moved to Huron Park at some point in the 1980s or early 1990s. Prior to that, the area was served by the Centralia Fire Department and Crediton Fire Department.
