The 1956 Richmond 200 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Richmond International Raceway on April 26, 1956. Eventual season champ Buck Baker dominated the event, leading 198 of the 200 laps in route to a strong one-lap victory on Herb Thomas, who didn't even finish the event. Stats
