About: Pink Gel Tree (SF3)   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

These enemies are apparently the distant cousin of the Pink Gel Tree (S3). They behave in a similar fashion by launching 3 moderately damaging projectiles. Unlike the Pink Gel Tree (S3), however, these have a slowing effect and can do substantial damage quickly, as they have a low AGI. Take them down, quickly, especially when mobs of Brown Shield Bats and Cyan Shield Spiders are with them, as the trees can slow characters down and leave them open to the swarms. Thankfully, like their cousins, they are rare, usually only one appearing in each screen (Although the first and last screen have more than one, also similarly to their cousins). The boss screen also has one, so its best to destroy that enemy quickly before taking on the boss. Outranging them with Physical, Fire, Thunder and Poison

Thankfully, like their cousins, they are rare, usually only one appearing in each screen (Although the first and last screen have more than one, also similarly to their cousins). The boss screen also has one, so its best to destroy that enemy quickly before taking on the boss. Outranging them with Physical, Fire, Thunder and Poison weapons will work effectively as they can't move towards characters. Their attacks are unable to pierce terrain so if they spawn above or below a platform, then bait their shots harmlessly into the platform.
